I absolutely love the almost monochrome quality of this image. The drifts were, in places, a metre to a metre and a half deep and nestled against the traditional dry-stone walls, whilst in other areas the wind had blown the powdery snow entirely clear of the ground’s surface, leaving only the merest covering.
