Old Barn, Lady Anne’s Highway

Lady Anne’s Way is a 100 mile long distance path from Skipton Castle, North Yorkshire, to Brougham Castle near Penrith, Cumbria. It passes through the Yorkshire Dales and the Upper Eden Valley. I love this composition: the shape and shades of Wild Boar Fell, are matched and virtually mirrored by the lighter tones of the foreground grasses, and echoed  by shape of the old barn on the grass track leading the eye into the unfolding walk ahead.
