The gently rounded forms of The Howgill Fells are a landmark easily spotted from the M6 motorway between Kendal and Penrith. They speak of ‘coming home’ to anyone who lives in the Upper Eden Valley or the northern extremities of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

More often than not, The Howgills are peaceful and typify a rural idyll of lush green slopes, gently grazing flocks, remote moorlands and stunning views.
